wHAT iS iT?
It is based on the Organic Labor Law of Workers (LOTTT) (articles 306-310), the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Organic Law of Education.
It obliges public and private,companies to cooperate in training. It stablishes safety standards (LOPCYMAT) and requires specific university regulations.
'In Venezuela, professional teaching practice is a mandatory and fundamental curricular unit in the university training of educators (UPEL, ULA, etc.). It focuses on the articulation of theory with practice to develop pedagogical, research and innovation skills in the classroom.'
ARTICLES
Art. 87: "Everyone has the right to work and the duty to work". This is the foundation for the development of decent internships and work practices. Article 103: "Every person has the right to a comprehensive, quality, and continuous education, under equal conditions and opportunities, with no limitations other than those derived from their aptitudes, vocation, and aspirations". It supports high-quality professional training and the link between theory and practice. Art. 60: "All citizens have the right to participate freely in public affairs, directly or through their elected representatives". It highlights the duty of society and the State to promote active participation, the basis of the Community Service Law for higher education students.
Art 22: "Public and private companies are obligated to provide facilities, services, technical and professional personnel for the execution and development of programs in the areas of training for liberating work, internship plans for students of general and technical secondary education, undergraduate and postgraduate university studies, and in the modalities of the Educational System".
Art. 306: The relationship between the intern and the company isn't considered an employment relationship, it's an education plan about social work. Art. 307: The intern must comply with the company's safety regulations, schedule and rules (LOPCYMAT). The regulation is also based on the agreement with FUNDEI. The company is responsible for any accidents or ilnesses suffered by the intern in their work area. Art. 309: If the intern keeps working for the company after their internship, it will be considered as a legal employment relationship.

What is it?

It is founded on the preeminence of human rights, popular sovereignty, and the legal order, encompassing organic laws, codes, and regulations in labor (LOTTT), commercial, civil, and educational matters.
