Bill Withers (1938-2020) fue un cantautor estadounidense de soul. Antes de la fama, trabajó nueve años en la Marina y en fábricas de aviones. Debutó a los 31 años con "Ain't No Sunshine" (1971), éxito que lo llevó a la fama con clásicos como "Lovely Day". Ganador de tres Grammys, se retiró pronto por su integridad, dejando un legado honesto y eterno.
