Italy was very well known and visited during the Renaissance. Some famous cities being Florence, Venice, and Milan. They became popular trading locations, where people from all over would trade items and goods. Italy also had famous centers for art, like the cities Rome, Venice, and Florence. Famous artists during this time were Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Donatello, and Sandro Botticelli.
