Cool hangouts and the trendiest fashion

  • Huxley's Mum: Sat on the school oval by a big tree and sometimes climbed it.

  • Daniel's Parent: Used books and encyclopedias and had dedicated library lessons for research.
The teacher who left a lasting impression.
  • Clara's Mum: Dr. Wong (Maths) was terrifying; she made students do "wall sits" for 30 minutes if they got a question wrong.
  • Anisa's Mum: Did not have a "legendary" scary teacher; all her teachers were nice and supportive.
  • Olin's Parent: Dr. Gagna, the Biology teacher, was the scariest.
  • Paulux's Parent: A strict Chemist teacher who was scary when instructions weren't followed in the lab.
  • Emi's Parents: Dad remembers Mrs. Bossi (yr6), and Mum remembers Md. Maygar (Vice Principal).
  • Gabriella's Parent: Had teachers in Maths, Science, and English who threw chalk at students.
How parents got ahold of kids without cell phones.
  • Huxley's Mum: Had to be home by 5pm or use a landline to call her parents.
  • Anisa's Mum: Adults in the close community would call out for them or ask friends where they were.
  • Daniel's Parents: Wore a watch to maintain a strict curfew to be home before dark.
Subjects that aren't around anymore

Childhood aspirations vs. current job
  • Huxley's Mum: Always wanted to be a mum and now has 4 kids.
