The minimum starting salary for new teachers begins at $42,500, with more experienced educators earning $60,000 to $75,000 or more, depending on district, qualifications, and years of service

- Senior/Junior - 3.0 unweighted GPA - No notable disciplinary infractions during the last academic year - fill out an application with two teacher recommendations - Must intend to major in education at a S.C. college/university
At a minimum, 411,549 positions were either unfilled or filled by teachers not fully certified for their assignments, representing about 1 in 8 of all teaching positions nationally
Students can earn up to $1,000 in scholarships, specifically the Kent Bower scholarship
