Ex. : I used to play marbles when I was young. She used to play the piano when she was a child. Le modal would décrit en revanche la régularité d'une action dans le passé. Ex. : They would listen to my advice. Ils écoutaient mes conseils.

1.Underline transparent words. Then other words that you understand. 2.What lexical fields can you find in the text? 3.Deduce from the lexical fields: What is the story about? Then what is the title of the play?

FINAL PROJECT Shakespeare gave Romeo and Juliet a tragic ending : but what if things had gone differently? Your mission is to imagine an alternative ending to the play, write it as a short scene, and perform it in front of the class.
TODAY : Write an alternative ending In groups of 2 to 4, write a short scene (10-20 lines of dialogue/pers) that reimagines the final act of the play. Your scene must stay true to the characters, the setting, and the themes of Shakespeare's work. Include stage directions to guide your performance. NEXT WEEK : Perform it in front of the class Bring your scene to life! You will be assessed on how clearly you speak, how well you know your lines, how you use the stage, and how convincingly you play your character. Your performance matters more than your written scene.
