Pionero del surrealismo cinematográfico: fue una de las primeras figuras en llevar los principios surrealistas al cine. Su colaboración con Dalí en "Un perro andaluz" estableció un nuevo estándar en la exploración de lo subconsciente y lo irracional en el cine.
Narrativa subversiva y provocativa: A lo largo de su carrera, Buñuel desafió las normas narrativas convencionales y exploró temas tabú como la religión, la sexualidad y la represión social.
