The Process
Combining practical and digital effects, we can obtain a reasonably high production value on a small budget. We use green screens with real-time monitoring of the virtual environment so actors can deliver an authentic performance while allowing us to key in a more natural lighting setup for the scene. We use Blender, Unreal Engine, After Effects, and Premiere for CG and live-action video post-processing/compositing and ProTools for scores and sound design.
The "Virtual" Setting
The virtual environment for Indiana Jonas is inspired by ancient Indian temples like Kailasa Temple, Badami Cave Temples, Kumbakonam Cholapuram, and Pattadakal in India.
Indiana Jonas
Our story follows Jonas, an adventurous 11-year-old boy determined to prove he’s ready for the danger-filled expeditions his legendary grandfather, Indiana Jones, won’t let him join. Sneaking into the jungle with his well-meaning, but clueless best friend Tuck, Jonas solves ancient puzzles, faces deadly traps, and discovers a long-lost statue his grandfather never found—only to realize true maturity sometimes means leaving the treasure behind. Jonas comes home a changed young man, leaving it up to the audience to decide whether Indiana believes he found the statue.
