"Little Water Guardians"
School Year 2025-2026
The project “Little Water Guardians” was implemented during the 2025–2026 school year
The project “LITTLE WATER GUARDIANS” is an interdisciplinary and collaborative program designed for preschool students (4–6 years old). Its goal was to cultivate environmental awareness through the exploration and protection of water as a natural resource.
Through experiential, creative, and collaborative activities, the young students transformed into “Water Guardians,” taking an active role in investigating, understanding, and promoting good practices regarding the proper use, importance, and protection of water.
The project is connected to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and Goal 13 (Climate Action), fostering a sense of responsibility from a very early age.
The project approached the theme of water from various perspectives, and our students explored and learned about:
- the water cycle
- its uses in everyday life
- the importance of water conservation
- its presence in the environment and in culture
At the same time, values such as respect for nature, cooperation, responsibility, and active citizenship were cultivated.
