The three women are: Katherine Jhonson, Dorothy Vaughun and Mary Jackson. They are fighting for their civil rights.
The film is from 2016, but it's set in 1960, when NASA competed whit USSR for supremercy in the space. The movies is based on a true story of three african american mathematicians. They contributed to the success of the first American to orbit Earth.
I chose Katherine because I was struck by her courage, her determination, she has never been down despite the criticism. This film makes it very good
