Tree’s Story – Two

I am never alone my forest family a green-feathered canopy of knowing trees protect me teach me to thread my roots deep into earth to drink sun and water dots through new leaves I learn early the art of tree signals emitting secret scents tiny currents that send invaders flying or call friends

in this way as countless moons parade silver through night sky and circled suns peep up orange through distant earth cracks I grow into my true tree self
