What our business is about
Our business focuses on tutoring sessions that last 30 minutes. The main goal is to help students who want to get better grades, or students who need help revisioning for exams.
Customer Base
Our customer base would be most likely students who want to better their grades, so we estimated that at least 5 people per class would need our service.
Location and prices
1.Our tutoring sessions will have place in empty classrooms after school hours or the school library.
2. One tutoring session is €5.00, but we also offer an exam prep bundle (€20.00, 4 sessions with practice material) and a subscription service (€10.00 monthly to be able to do as many sessions as you want).
Marketing strategies
Our marketing strategies would include giving out study tip flyers to all students, encourage students who do bad in school to sign up to our services and offer the first session free of charge.
Resources and costs
Our main costs include: practice worksheets (€0.30/sheet of paper), basic school supplies (pens, pencils..., €1-2/ material), possible rewards for progress (stickers, candy... about €6.20)
We would need resources like: Textbooks,whiteboards and digital boards, tablets/ laptops, a paper where students can sign up etc...
Needed skills and workers
We have two main roles: The tutor, who must have a lot of patience, be able to explain concepts in a simple way and be specialized in at least one subject. Then we have the coordinator, who handles schedules, collects payments and helps students that may have any questions about our service.
