our school is for all
I started teaching in 2001, teaching French and English. in 2010, I became a specialized teacher for SEN and I started working in Montenero di Bisaccia. For ten years I've been a SEN teacher and referent for inclusion of the school. In 2020 , I became an English teacher. My motto: "everyone can do everything"

In the Italian School system inclusion is a legal and pedagogical principle- Students with disabilities attend mainstream classes- diveristy is considered resource - participation and belonging are key goals
inclusion is not optional
in Italy it is embedded in legislation and daily school life
it involves: equal access to learning opportunities - respect for individual differences - active participation of all students - removal of barriers to learning. It is a daily practice, not only a policy.

Context: culturally and linguistically diverse class Challenge: different language prificiency levels Strategies: visual and simplified materials - cooperative learning activities - peer support Outcomes: increased participation and engagement

Context: inclusion is supported by specialized support teachers, individualized education plans IEPs, collaboration between school, families and health services. Strategies: individualized learning path, use of compensatory tools (assistive technology, visual supports), exemption measures (adapted tasks or reduced workload), co-teaching between subject teacchers and support teachers , flexible teaching methods and inclusive classroom environments. Challenges: ensuring continuity of dupport teachers, balancing individual needs with whole-class learning. Outcomes: High participation in school life, development of autonomy and social skills, improved peer relationships, a strong culture of inclusion benefiting all students.
