The SDM must initiate a formal scope change request for:
- Scope reduction or removal
This prevents uncontrolled scope creep and ensures proper validation and tracking.
If the project needs to be paused (customer dependency, internal constraint, risk mitigation): The SDM initiates the on-hold process Status, reasons, and next steps are documented and shared
Customers are strongly encouraged to leverage full support during implementation to:
- Roll out to the largest possible user base
Early adoption increases long-term value and reduces post–go-live friction.
The SDM owns project transparency with: - The customer
- Internal teams (CSP, KAM, LEC)
Project health, progress, and challenges are reviewed on a weekly basis (Monday).
