Through student-led crochet sessions, handmade items are produced and sold to fund essential school supplies for refugee high school students.

Loops of Hope transforms student-led crochet sessions into a sustainable micro-production model. Handmade products are sold to generate revenue used to fund educational supplies for refugee high school students, converting creative participation into measurable educational impact.

Our website was created as an interactive storytelling space where visitors don’t simply read about our mission, they experience it. Through visuals, clickable content, and real student-led initiatives, users can explore how creativity becomes opportunity and how handmade work is transformed into educational support for refugee students. School supply packer
Supply Distributor
Distribute school supply packs directly to refugee students through community centers. Volunteers in this role also build personal, respectful relationships with students, creating trust, encouragement, and a sense of support beyond the supplies.
Represent Loops of Hope by selling crochet products in person on the AUR campus. This role focuses on communication, fundraising, and raising awareness about our mission within the university community.
Campus Seller
Create the handmade crochet products that are sold to fund school supplies. Using donated sweaters and sustainable materials, crocheters turn creativity into real educational support.
Put together school supply kits for refugee high school students. This role ensures each student receives the essential materials they need to succeed throughout the school year.
