Through shared experiences, we hope to create hope and understanding for refugees who have faced similar hardships. HUMaiN will collect unique refugee stories, not only to train itself on them, but also to help others feel seen, heard, and less alone. The AI-powered system will also use these stories, that will be kept anonymous for safety reasons, to train itself and better adapt to its key demographic.
Local communities
The AI-system we envision would be designed to interconnect young refugees (and potentially locals) that share similar interests, skills, or goals. Through these connections communities will form supporting social integration, and help build lasting relationships between refugees and members of the local community.
Experiences feeback
HUMaiN will be able to receive feedback from members of the communities it creates, such as comments, ratings, and usage patterns. It will analyze this data to identify trends, satisfaction levels, and recurring concerns. Through continuous updates and learning from this feedback, it will improve and develop into a more reliable system that refugees can trust.
Language diversity
HUMaiN will be able to understand millions of languages, helping refugees worldwide no matter their origine or cultural backround.

Refugees are spread across different locations around the world. If a refugee is looking to join a specific type of community but cannot find one nearby, HUMaiN can connect them virtually to a community at a distance.

There has been conerns around data leaks when using AI-powered systems in international development. We want HUMaiN to be secure and trust worthy.If this project comes to life, the HUMaiN team will do everything in its power to keep personal information and aspirations safe.
