Tiny droplets of rain splashed on my face as the rumble of thunder echoed in the distance. Ahead were towering pine trees which seemed to suffocate the last glimmer of daylight. Dense fog rolled swiftly along the hills beyond the horizon. I shivered. This was not the best weather for our camping weekend.
