INTRODUCCIÓN
En esta presentación voy a hacer una comparación entre el arte románico y el gótico con su arquitectura, pintura y escultura
ARQUITECTURA
Románico
Gótico
Tienen arcos de medio punto, bóvedas de cañón y cúpulas, muros gruesos con pocos y estrechos vanos, contrafuertes macizos pegados al muro y su luz escasa con ambientes oscuros.
Tienen arcos apuntados, bovedas de crucería, muros delgados con grandes ventanales y vidrieras, arbotantes, contrafuertes exteriores y su luz es abundante
PINTURA
Románico
Gótico
Tienen murales al fresco, figuras esquemáticas con trazos gruesos y oscuros, fondos planos o con bandas de colores, temática simbólica y didáctica.
Tienen vidrieras y tablas, figuras con movimiento, curvas y gestos expresivos, aparición de la profundidad y paisajes, temática humanizada y evolución hacia el óleo.
ESCULTURA
Románico
Gótico
Tienen naturalismo idealizado, independencia, humanización, curva gótica y la técnica común es el Dios Hombre/Virgen Madre.
Tienen antinaturalismo y rigidez, usan la ley de marco, inexpresividad, geometrización y simetría y la temática común es el pantocrátor.
