Hunger is a major global issue, affecting more than 800 million people worldwide. One possible solution is genetically modified (GM) crops. These crops can produce more food, resist pests and be more nutritious. However, many people fear GM foods because they are seen as not natural and therefore dangerous. There is no scientific proof of danger and education is important for GMO acceptance.
