The story develops in the autum of 1888 on Whitechapel,London .It starts with London telling its story, mentioning things like when it was burned down ,the plage and the British Empire ,also the social and economic big differences between the rich people and the ones who lived in filth on the east end , then 3 more people tell their point of view of the story of the killer of woman Jack the Ripper who killed 5 womans brutally at night Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes and Mary Jane Kelly,a 15 year old boy called Charlie Harris, Mari Kelly ,a young woman and the inspector Frederick Abberline .

Charli Harris
He was a 15 year old boy who lived in Whitechapel in 1888 when the crimes ocoured . He lived with his mom and two sisters ,however he was very independent as wel as responsible,he knew the streets and alleys very well and he liked playing with his friens most of the time ,he was very agile, when one of the murders happened he climbed a wall to see what had happened and a man spoted him and went to his house ,Mr Lusk ,he offered him joining the vigilante group,and even thought his mom refused he ended up joining it,since he wanted to cach the killer,fact that shows how brave he is.
what i didn´t like
What i liked
I didn´t like that Jack was never caught and that he did terrible things to inocent women and when he sent that box with half a human kidney and the note saying from hell , i thougt it was disrespectfull and gross.
I liked that the people of Whitechapel stick together and try to protect each other most of the time and the fact that London talked like it was alive.
FINAL RECOMENDATION
In conclusion i would recomend this book since even if it it a sad story with a bad final its really easy to read and you learn a lot of new words.
