Improve Parking Lots

$382,000

Both the north and south parking lots need repaving and improved lighting.

Replace Walk-In Refrigerator and Freezer

$100,000

The walk-in refrigerator and freezer at the Food Pantry are over 15 years old and nearing the end of their useful life. Freezer failure could easily mean the loss of 10,000 pounds of frozen product (much more when fully stocked). The Pantry would also be unable to receive large donations of frozen products when they are offered. This project will replace both of the units.

Renovate Sanctuary

$740,000

The sanctuary will receive a new one-level chancel, new carpet and reupholstered pews, and improved lighting. The sanctuary walls will be painted. The AV system will receive upgrades.

Install Solar Panels

$250,000

Solar panel installation on the roof of the Antioch facility is already under way, to take advantage of federal tax incentives that expired at the end of 2025. Estimated energy savings is $26,000 annually.

Replenish Trustee Reserve

$1,600,000 (all campuses)

In the last two years the Trustee Reserve has been depleted to fund exterior work at Mission Campus and the Friendship Hall renovation. The reserve is used to fund significant capital repairs and projects outside of a capital campaign. With over 350,000 sqft to maintain, replenishing this emergency reserve will help us respond to unexpected building issues.

Improve Parking Lots

$382,000

Both the north and south parking lots need repaving and improved lighting.

Art Installation

$50,000

Commission an outdoor sculptural piece honoring Village's 75 years and welcoming future generations.

Renovate Fellowship Hall

$568,000

This project will remove the movable partitions, install a new ceiling, install new flooring, update lighting and improve the room’s AV capabilities.

Convert to Energy Efficient LED Lights

$200,000 (both campuses)

This project will replace original fluorescent lights at Mission and Antioch with energy efficient LED lights. Some lights have already been replaced, such as in Room 15 (the Sewing Room at Mission Campus)—what a difference brighter lights make!

Redesign Youth Loft and 3rd Floor Offices

$300,000

This project will create new offices for the Youth Ministry staff in the current Youth Loft. The existing 3rd floor offices will be refreshed and updated for use by other staff.

Replace Carpet in the Business Office

$50,000

The Business Office area carpet is not in good shape. It is unglued, fraying, and wrinkled, presenting a safety/trip hazard. Some of the carpet is over 40 years old.

Village Food Pantry volunteers Sharon Marsh and grandson Jack share about what the capital campaign will mean for the Food Pantry.

Improve Parking Lots

$382,000

Both the north and south parking lots need repaving and improved lighting.

Establish Endowment for the Food Pantry

$1,000,000

This project will establish an endowment for the Food Pantry & Clothes Closet, providing the foundation for long-term financial security for one of Village's most enduring missions.

Refresh 2nd Floor Office Suite

$100,000

This project will refresh the offices of Congregational Care, Adult Faith Formation, Engagement, and Worship/Young Adult Ministries. It will include soundproofing between two offices, a necessary measure for maintaining confidentiality in congregational care.

Friendship Hall and Restroom Renovation

$694,000

The project costs exceed a $1 million lead gift. The restrooms in the corridor outside of Friendship Hall are in dire need of renovation, with plumbing/pipe issues routinely impacting offices directly below the restrooms. The already completed Friendship Hall renovation project did not include these restrooms.

Install Choir Risers and Update Chancel

$300,000

The current choir risers were installed 10 years ago as a temporary fix; this project will install permanent risers and will enhance the performance of the many groups who perform in the sanctuary. In addition, the project will fund new chairs for the choir and the pastors/liturgists.

Education Wing Security

$250,000

The safety of the children enrolled in childcare and the preschool is a top priority. This project will install security doors on floors 2 and 3 of the Education Wing, restricting public access from the rest of the building.

HVAC Improvements

$172,000 (both campuses)

The HVAC system at Mission Campus was installed over many years and is not efficient. This project will install variable speed pumping to increase efficiency and energy savings. At Antioch Campus, new programmable thermostats will be installed.

Replace Fire Suppression System

$750,000

The existing fire suppression system was cobbled together over many years as new buildings were added to the Mission Campus footprint and does not meet current fire codes, presenting a significant safety risk. The project will install a completely new fire alarm and suppression system throughout the building.
