Who am I?
My name is A’mour Canty, and I am a FITS student with a strong interest in the creative and strategic sides of fashion. I’m passionate about visual storytelling, digital content, and how trends shape brand identity. Through my internship at NIE.CAT, I’m gaining hands-on experience in content creation and professional collaboration. I hope to pursue a career that blends fashion, media, and technology in a creative, fast-paced environment.
NIE.CAT in a Nutshell
What do they do?
During this semester, I interned with NIE.CAT in Barcelona, a relocation service company that supports European and non-European clients in navigating the process of moving to Spain, including obtaining NIE numbers, securing fingerprint appointments, arranging housing, and managing administrative and tax requirements. As the sole intern on a small team led by CEO Daniela Vorbova, I was responsible for creating social media content that showcased client experiences and authentically represented the company’s brand. I filmed in public spaces, collaborated with clients shortly after meeting them, and produced videos reflecting on my own student experience in Barcelona, which strengthened my confidence, adaptability, and on-camera communication skills.
Cultural Differences: Spain vs. my Home Country
1. Communication Style • NIE.CAT: more direct and expressive • Olive Garden: more scripted and formal • Helped me become more confident speaking up 2.
