Hello! Let's read a story and practice diphthongs! Diphthongs are a special kind of vowel team.
They make the same sound but are spelled differently. As you read, listen carefully and practice saying the diphthong sounds
ow (as in cow) and ou (as in trout). Read slowly and say each word clearly. When you finish the story, answer the questions at the end
to show what you understood. Have fun reading and listening for those diphthongs!
