When presenting ideas, always make eye contact with your audience to engage them. Speak concisely and avoid unnecessary jargon that confuses listeners. Use analogies to explain complex concepts and back up your claims with evidence. Your gestures and facial expressions help convey meaning. Stay precise in your language and stick to the point to hold attention. If someone misinterprets your point, rephrase it clearly. Be ready to elaborate on key ideas. If your mind goes blank, take a breath. Don't lose your train of thought mid-presentation.

  2. convey - To communicate or express an idea, feeling, or message to others.
  3. concisely - In a brief and clear way, using few words to express something.
  4. back up - To support or prove something with evidence, facts, or examples.
  5. jargon - Specialized or technical language used by a particular profession or group.
  6. analogies - Comparisons between two different things that helps explain or clarify an idea.
  7. gestures - Movements of your hands, arms, or body used to express or emphasize ideas.
  8. facial expressions - The looks or emotions shown on someone's face, like smiling or frowning.
  9. engage - To attract and hold someone's attention or interest; to involve actively.
  10. attention - The act of concentrating on or giving mental focus to something or someone.
  11. misinterprets - Understands or explains something incorrectly; gets the wrong meaning.
  12. rephrase - To express something again using different words to make it clearer.
  13. elaborate on - To provide more details or information about something; to explain more fully.
  14. precise - Exact, accurate, and clearly expressed with no confusion.
  15. mind goes blank - To suddenly be unable to remember or think of anything.
  16. stick to the point - To focus on the main topic without going off into unrelated subjects.
  17. lose my train of thought - To forget what you were saying or thinking about in the middle of speaking.

When someone avoids eye contact, it may mean they don't want something about them to be seen. They could be lying, masking their emotions or insecure in some way. facial expressions – The thoughts or feelings showing on someone’s face; certain facial expressions are signals of specific emotions like happiness, surprise and anger that are universally recognized. engage attention – Make somebody interested enough to keep listening. misinterprets – Misunderstands something or someone. stick to the point – Focus or concentrate on the important part of the problem or story and keep talking about a particular topic. mind goes blank – can’t remember a particular thing or unable to think of something to say; when giving a talk, it’s much more likely that your mind will go blank if you've tried to memorize your speech.
