SEASONAL FOOD PROJECT

You are young food experts taking part in an International Food & Seasons Fair. Your mission is to teach your classmates about seasonal food and different diets around the world by creating and playing a quiz.

STEP 1:

Choose:

• One season (spring, summer, autumn or winter)
• One country and its typical diet

STEP 2:

Find information about:

• Seasonal fruits and vegetables in your chosen season
• Typical food products from your chosen country
• How the diet changes depending on the season
• Basic food instructions (what people should or shouldn’t eat)

STEP 3:

Create a quiz (minimum 10 questions) and print it. Your quiz must include:

• Multiple choice questions about seasonal fruit and vegetables
• True / False questions about the country’s diet
• Sentences using like + -ing or noun
• Questions or instructions using imperatives
• One question with a food or fruit idiom

STEP 4:

Prepare a short oral presentation in English:

• Explain the season and country
• Describe the main food products
• Give clear instructions using imperatives
• Say your opinion about flavours and food
