"FromSomeone
who will stay"
-Me to myself
Dear me,
Even when you feel tired, insacure or unsure; I will stay. I will protect your dreams and remind you of your happy times.
You don't have to be someone you aren't, you're already enough.
No matter how many times you fall, I'll be here to help you stand back up over and over again.
Love, Me
They represents the deep bond between Xie Lian, a kind-hearted and resilient god who has faced many hardships and failures, and Hua Cheng, a powerful, mysterious immortal who has always been devoted to him.
-From Heaven Official’s Blessing (TGCF) Chinese novel
Why this theme?
This card is inspired by a story called "Tian Guan Ci Fu(Heaven Official's blessing-donghua and chinese novel)", which has the themes of devotion, loyalty, and care between two characters. I chose this story because it has the idea of support in the same way we can show love and kindness to ourselves. The quotes I included capture moments of reflection, devotion, and strength, which I wanted to show in my card. Even if you don’t know the story, these lines are meant to inspire thought about self-love and the power of staying kind.
I paired it with the song Odoriko by Vaundy because its soft and reflective tone matches that feeling of self-love and devotion.
