Surgical Procedures

This is where the surgeries and dentals will be placed for the day.

• Chronos does NOT schedule or reschedule these
• Send a task to the Call Nurse to schedule, reschedule, or pass on any client questions regarding surgical procedures

Lunch blocks

We don't schedule here, that would be rude

• The doors are open and one person is at the Front Desk during lunch to process medication pickups, etc.
• The phones remain on for Chronos during lunch

Urgent Care appointments

• These blocks are left open for urgent issues that need to be seen ASAP.
• Urgent Care appointments should be used for sick pets of existing clients.
• The exam fee for Urgent Care is $99. There is no deposit, but Chronos needs to make sure the client understands the increased appointment fee.
• Urgent Care blocks can be booked prior to the day they open, but ideally should be left open if there are limited appointments or doctors that day.

• Urgent Care appointments are scheduled ON the orange block (not the white space), for 15 minutes only.

Pet Care Specialist (tech) appointments

These are technician appointments

• Patient must be up to date on PE12 (annual exam) unless doctor notes state otherwise.
• ANY type of Dr. exam at Wake Forest Animal Hospital in the last 12 months counts toward eligibility

• Rabies must be current

Drop off blocks

These blocks are available for drop off appointments

• Chronos does NOT schedule or reschedule these
• Send a task to the Call Nurse to contact the client and reschedule

DVM appointments

These are for any doctor appointments. They are 30 minutes long, but are blocked on the schedule in 15 minute increments. All DVM appointments are 30 minutes long. For example ,this open appointment begins at 9:00am and ends at 9:30am. Chronos will block off the first 15 minute white space, but understand that the appointment itself is 30 minutes long.

Cancelled appointments

Cancelled appointments get changed to 'cancelled' appointment type and put to the side on any DVM who is off today. There is no fee or penalty for cancelling.
