4.1. Identificación y niveles de respuesta ante el ahogamiento.

1. Nadador normal: Posición horizontal, movimientos coordinados, control de la respiración y avance constante. 2. Distrés acuático: Posición vertical, avance escaso. La persona aún respira y puede pedir ayuda, pero está agotada o con calambres. 3. Víctima activa: Lucha por respirar con la cabeza hacia atrás. Movimientos de "escalera" (manos hacia abajo), no puede gritar y tiene expresión de terror. 4. Espasmo de glotis: El cierre repentino de la garganta por agua fría o pánico.
