Colony portfolio

Our colony was created with specific goals: collaboration, respect and brotherhood. Everyone in our colony has specific commitments, everyone knows how they should behave. our community moves forward peacefully.

Teacher

As for schools, different types of institutions will be created. Primary schools will focus on basic subjects such as reading, writing and mathematics. Alongside these, practical schools will teach agriculture, craftsmanship and other useful skills for everyday life in the colony. Artistic and cultural education will also be promoted to preserve local traditions and encourage mutual respect among people. Regarding religion, the governor and I have decided not to impose any official religion. Everyone will be free to practice their own faith, and respect for different beliefs will be an essential value of the colony.

In the new colony, the role of the Education and Religion Officer is very important because it helps shape the cultural, moral and spiritual growth of the community. Education is the basis for creating a peaceful, organized and inclusive society. Teaching English will be one of the main priorities. English will help people communicate with each other, work together and actively participate in the life of the colony. At the same time, the indigenous language will not be cancelled. Schools will be bilingual in order to respect and protect local cultural identities. English will be taught in a practical and engaging way, through dialogues, games, songs and traditional stories translated into English.

Dictator

I am the dictator and I have command over this promised land that will be our colony. I decide the laws to be passed, the military regulations, the market for our citizens and farmers.

MERCHANT

If I were responsible for survival, I would organize everything to ensure continuous food supply and avoid depleting resources. In the fields, I would rotate crops every year: one year, grains like wheat or corn for calories, the next year legumes like beans or lentils to improve the soil, then vegetables and tubers like potatoes and carrots, and finally a period in which the fields are used for grazing animals or left to rest. This way, the land remains fertile and constantly productive. Animals would be essential. Chickens would lay eggs every day and eat the scraps. Goats or sheep would provide milk, meat, and wool, while cows or oxen would also be needed for field work and for fertilizer. Animals would be carefully managed, avoiding killing those needed for reproduction. For the market, I would initially use barter. In a survival situation, food and skills are more valuable than money, so people would exchange agricultural products, animals, or labor. Only when the community becomes stable would I introduce a simple form of currency tied to real goods like grain or labor. The final choice is therefore barter at the beginning, because it is the simplest and safest system for survival. As the situation improves, we can gradually transition to a currency based on real goods.

Head of army: Generalissimo Riccardo Testi

1. COMMAND: Council of Ten, led by the Generalissimo. State Ideology: "Strength, Purity, Self-Reliance." 2. ARMED FORCES: ARMY (1.5 million personnel): 5 specialized Army Corps. Modern force with superior firepower and mobility. NAVY (43,000 personnel): Dominion through swarms. Fleet of >34 million autonomous drones controlled by few mother ships. 3. INTERNAL CONTROL: SECRET POLICE (CSO): Stasi/Gestapo model. 2,500 officers and informant network. Total surveillance and preventive terror to eliminate all dissent.

The native man

teacher:

Dictator

Merchant

One day, the people of our colony saw a native man. He was very scared because cannibals were chasing him. He asked to enter our colony, but he said that the government must decide his fate. For this reason, we called an emergency meeting to decide what to do. As the education officer, I propose to accept him into our community. He should learn our language and our traditions. He can also help us because he knows the island very well. With his help, we can expand our territories.

I saved Friday from being killed. I fired my guns to scare the cannibals away. After that, we started to build our colony. Friday became a teacher. His daughter grew up brave and confident.

My opinion as a merchant is that this native man should remain in our colony because he would be useful in manual labor and also in expanding our territories since he knows the territory.

judge

As the Judge of the colony, I believe that Aura staying in our community is a good and positive thing. Aura is native to this place and knows the island very well. He knows the land, the natural resources, and the dangers of the island. This knowledge is very helpful for the colony because it helps us move safely, understand the environment better, and grow the colony in an organized way.

The native man

Army:

As the army general and commander of the CSO, I decide to capture the native man and use him as an information exchange with the cannibals. In the meantime, he will be tortured and interrogated harshly by my men.

Master Horse

teacher:

Dictator

Merchant

I told the Master Horse my belief without hesitation. Yahoos live only by instinct, and Houyhnhnms live only by reason. Both are extremes. Humans are different because we stand in the middle. We feel emotion, but we can control it. That is why we are not Yahoos. To prove this, I ruled the community with clear laws and strict order. Work was organized, and disorder was punished.

As an education and religion officer, I think it is important to educate the master horse. We should explain to him how humans live and how they think. At the same time, we should use his abilities to help the community and live in peace together.

As a merchant, I would keep the horse within the community because it would represent a fundamental resource both militarily and politically. In the event of battles or threats from outside the village, the horse would be extremely useful for faster travel, carrying weapons or messages, and ensuring a strategic advantage over enemies. Furthermore, it could be used for patrols and border defense, thus increasing the security of the entire community. The horse could also assist the governor in carrying out his duties

Master Horse

Judge

Army

The narrator proudly presents his clothes, laws, weapons, and stories of war and empire to a silent horse, expecting interest or admiration. The horse remains indifferent, calmly grazing and unaffected by displays of human power and achievement. In the end, the narrator realizes that the horse and its kind live without clothes, laws, weapons, or wars—yet lack nothing. Surrounded by all it needs, the horse appears complete and self-sufficient, while the narrator feels poor for having traveled so far to offer things that were never needed.

As a judge, I spoke to the Master Horse about my belief. Yahoos live by instinct, and Houyhnhnms live by reason. Humans are different because we have emotions but can control them. I ruled the community with clear laws and order. I also added music and stories to create unity. The Master Horse saw a peaceful and stable community.
