There are millions of different types of living organism. Scientists group things to make it easier when studying and researching them. All living things belong to one of the five kingdoms.

  • Unicellular organisms.
  • They live everywhere, even inside you!
  • Example: Bacterias

PROTIST

  • Unicellular or multicellular.
  • Many live in water.
  • Many perform photosynthesis
  • Example: Protozoa and Algae

FUNGI

  • Unicellular or multicellular.
  • They are decomposers! They feed on dead plants and animals.
  • Ex.: Mushrooms, yeast

ANIMALS

  • Multicellular organisims.
  • They eat other living things.
  • They move and use their senses to interact.

PLANTS
