Paediatric Tracheostomy - Train the Trainer Course
This course is designed for health care professionals that have at least 2 years’ experience in looking after infants and children with a tracheostomy, whether this be in the hospital, in the home, or out in the community setting. If you have all this specialist knowledge on Paediatric Tracheostomy care and have our passion to share this knowledge and teach more people to safely care for children with a tracheostomy. You will be preventing critical incidences and promoting a high standard of care, then this course is for you.

Paediatric Enhanced Clinical Assessment Course (EL-PECA)
This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to undertake a full medical history, perform an enhanced clinical assessment and identify recommendations for ongoing care. You will explore the process of critical reasoning as the foundations of the patient evaluation. These skills are transferrable to your clinical setting, especially in a clinic or triage situation, or in a inpatient setting to manage changing or developing clinical circumstances.

This course is aimed towards Senior Urology trainees due to take their exit examination. The VIVA examination will cover the entire paediatric urology syllabus.

Evelina Paediatric Urodynamics Course 2026
This two day face to face course will start by covering normal childhood bladder and bowel anatomy and function along with an outline of Bladder Bowel dysfunction (BBD). The bulk of the course will cover urodynamic assessment of BBD both with non-invasive strategies such as Diaries, Uroflowmetry (together with use of EMG) and ultrasound scanning, and invasive urodynamics to include videourodynamics and ambulatory urodynamics. Practical demonstration along with work-shop scenarios will be provided along with case studies. We will not concentrate much on treatment but will provide demonstration of superficial neuromodulation such as TENS and the principles/practice of Biofeedback treatment.

LTV practical day
The LTV Practical day will cover the following: Intended Learning Outcomes 1.Understand the normal respiratory anatomy and physiology. 2.Apply knowledge of respiratory anatomy and physiology to assess a BCYP requiring ventilation for both acute and chronic conditions 3.Recognise type 1 and 2 ventilation failure and apply appropriate ventilation prescriptions and escalation strategies for oxygen delivery. 4.Interpret and apply the principles of ventilation to ensure accurate documentation and the development of care plans. 5.Demonstrate safe care, assessment, and transfer of a child with a ventilator (Tracheostomy and NIV), ensuring patient safety and comfort. 6.Recognise and resolve issues related to troubleshooting and escalation for a BCYP on a ventilator (NIV & Tracheostomy). 7.Demonstrate understanding and apply the appropriate ventilators and equipment required for patients on acute and long-term ventilati

This study day aims to develop the learner’s skills and knowledge required to become competent in administration of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) for children and young people (CYP). Learners will then be required to complete the CCLG/UKONS SACT Competency Passport.
