Accountancy – Scenario-Based Learning Activity This resource was designed to consolidate unit learning through an interactive, scenario-based experience. Learners take on the role of a newly hired accountant working with a furniture manufacturing client and complete practical tasks such as filling in a cashbook, organising documents, and sorting invoices. The activity uses highly visual, Blender-rendered environments to contextualise learning and support applied, real-world understanding.

Sustainability Currently under development, this highly interactive resource demonstrates the critical importance of sustainability topics, such as climate change and environmental preservation. The main menu features a visual representation of Earth; selecting a topic transports the user to a specific region significantly affected by that issue (e.g., South America for environmental concerns). After a brief introduction video, users enter an immersive 'green job' simulation. In this role, they must make strategic choices to achieve a genuine impact, with multiple endings determined by their success in meeting specific thresholds. These scenario-based activities are designed to be engaging, blending subtle context with embedded mathematics and management skills. The experience concludes with a breakdown of key facts regarding the chosen topic.

Gamified Creative Writing Activity (Dungeons & Dragons) I collaborated closely with a subject tutor to redesign and digitalise an existing session on creative writing, transforming it into a gamified, scenario-based learning experience inspired by Dungeons & Dragons. Learners create a character with unique traits and navigate a branching narrative shaped by dice rolls, successes, and failures. After each narrated scene, learners write their own creative descriptions, embedding writing practice throughout the activity. The experience uses AI-assisted visuals, narration, music, and sound effects to create an immersive story world, and concludes with a downloadable writing journal reflecting the learner’s choices and story outcomes.

Safeguarding & Prevent (SG+P) I led the redesign of the college’s safeguarding and Prevent training to address ongoing issues with engagement and retention. The content was transformed into a bite-sized, gamified, scenario-based resource set within familiar college environments. Learners interact with characters, make choices, and explore four locations, unlocking safeguarding concepts through positive responses and exploration. Gamification elements, including branching dialogue and hidden content, were used to increase motivation and engagement with mandatory learning.
