For Refrigerantion Circuit

EU Requirements

Be sure to follow the steps in accordance with IEC-60335-2-40:2018 ANNex HH.

  • Ensure that the floor area is sufficient for the refrigerant charge or that the ventilation duct is assembled in a correct manner.
  • Connect the pipes and carry out a leak test before charging with refrigerant.
  • Check safety equipment before putting into service.
Safety Features of CAHV-Z
  • All potential ignition sources like relay on board are ATEX compliant.
  • There is the refrigerant sensor in the unit for risk assessment.
  • Mold marking for R290 is implemented to make service personnel aware that R290 is charged in the unit.
  • In order to ensure that the safety measures function properly in the event of a refrigerant leakage, Pressure Relief Valve (PRV), Automatic Air vent Valve (AAV) and Automatic Air vent Valve with Air Separator (AAV with air separator) must be installed as defined.
  • The power must remain on all times after installation to keep the safety functions activated.

Safety Breaker Tag
  • Do not turn off the breaker except for servicing.
  • This unit is equipped with the refrigerant sensor and electrically powered safety measures.
  • To be effective, the unit must be electrically powered at all times after installation, other than when servicing.
  • To prevent the power from being switched off, attach the provided the caution tag to the local breaker to alert personnel.
