Station Road
Access
A vital new road connection between Station Road (Nailsea) and A379, Farleigh Road (Backwell). The southern extent of the link road will be delivered by the developer, the northern limb and the traffic lights will be constructed in coordination with the developer, utilising local S106 contributions and/or CIL revenue.
Ecology Park
The Ecology Park will transform this part of the site into an attractive and locally significant area of biodiversity enhancement. It aims to preserve local wildlife habitats, support existing species, and attract new ones. Additionally, the park will provide educational opportunities for children with nature trails that encourage exploration and learning.
Phase 2
Infastructure
Traffic-light-controlled junctions will be installed on either side of Backwell Common Bridge to connect the link roads.
Fraleigh Road

The hub aims to reduce dependence on private cars, alleviate local traffic congestion, and promote greener, more flexible and active travel for everyday journeys.

The new underbridge shall be delivered by North Somerset Council, utilising local S106 contributions and/or CIL revenue.
Public Facilities
This area has been set aside as an open opportunity for community and/or employment provision, which could include facilities such as education, sports pitches, retail or a business park.
