WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
Work as part of the Resilience Esports Content Team
- Create real esports content for the colleges esports brand
- These roles are based on real esports media and marketing jobs
- You will effectively act as an Esports Content Creator
During this week you will:
- Create articles or videos
- Work independently and professionally
- Produce content suitable for a college esports website or socials
- This mirrors how real esports organisations create content.

HOW THE WORK EXPERIENCE WEEK WORKS
Days 1-2 (Remote):
Days 3-4 (In College):
- Pitch your ideas to staff for approval
- Recording footage / interviews
- Staff feedback and support
- Independent working
- Editing and refining content
- Final submission
- Reflection

GAMES YOU CAN CREATE CONTENT ABOUT
You may focus your content on one or more of the following games:
- Overwatch 2
- League of Legends
- Fortnite
- Apex Legends
- VALORANT
- F1 26
- Rocket League
- Marvel Rivals
CONTENT TEAM PROJECT
CHOOSE YOUR MAIN CONTENT FOCUS
You must choose ONE main content option:
IT/ESPORTS NEWS
INTERVIEWS & FEATURES
GUIDES & EXPLAINERS
VIDEO CONTENT
HARDWARE REVIEWS
You may work individually or in small groups (teacher decision), but your chosen focus must be approved before production begins!
CONTENT TEAM PROJECT
WHAT YOU MUST SUBMIT
What is required ultimately depends on your chosen submission!Written Content (Articles / Guides):
- Two written pieces (e.g. two articles, two guides, or a mix)
Video Content:
- One completed video (Topic of your choice but must be edited and ready to publish)
- Transcript must be provided
Interview Content:
- One interview (written or video)
- If video, transcript must be provided
- One additional (and related to the same game) content piece
Hardware Review (Corsair peripherals):
- One detailed review (written or video).
- Must include testing/usage evidence including images, pros and cons, suitability for esports and your final recommendation

FIRST: RESEARCH
Before creating your own content, research existing esports content to help shape your ideas:
- Look at articles, videos, interviews, and hardware reviews
- Use esports websites, YouTube, team pages, and social media
- Focus on style, structure, tone, and format
- Identify what works well and what you would improve
- Collect 2-3 examples and make brief notes
Use examples for inspiration - not copying!
- Your final content must be original (yes, we will check).
- You must pitch 3-4 ideas to your teacher on Day 3 for approval.
- Ideas should include titles, a brief description of what you want to do, and why it's a good idea

High-quality content will:
- Be accurate and well-researched
- Be clearly structured and easy to follow
- Be suitable for a college esports audience
- Show effort, originality, and professionalism
