Lola, a 14-year-old girl, lives in a small, quiet town. Every day, she attends school, and after classes, she hangs out with her friends. One day, while she was exploring her grandmother’s attic, she discovered an ancient, seemingly magical clock. As she touched the clock, it stopped, and then a strange silence filled the house. A cold shiver spread through Lola, and she realized that something odd was happening.
When Lola stepped into the garden, she saw her neighbor’s house, where people were stunned in the middle of doing chores. Their dog was barking, and Lola couldn’t hear it. The leaves on the trees were still, and in the sky were still, and the birds were still. Everything was still. Lola carefully stepped forward and began to wonder whether everything around her was real or if it was a dream.
Lola was then approached by a boy named Max who told her that like her, he was able to move while time was frozen. Max told her the town was enchanted. The clock was magical. If time was not fixed, the entire town would be frozen in time. She was frightened, but something in her heart told her it was the start of a big adventure.
Exploring the deserted town, Lola and Max saw streets filled with floating clocks, lights that seemed to want to warn them, and strange shadows that moved along the walls. Because of the fractured time, every move was dangerous. Any mistake and it would be permanent. Lola was extremely anxious but Max assured her that together they could persevere.
While they were running, huge clocks started falling from the sky, and the ground began to split open. Lola and Max kept running and dodging the falling clocks and gaps in the ground. Time kept trembling, and every second felt like they were being punished for hours. If they didn’t fix the clock soon, the entire town would vanish and everyone would be frozen in time.
They finally reached the clock tower. Lola began to climb the stairs. Max was walking behind her and helping her keep her balance. The clock was trembling and the hands were spinning wildly, almost like they possessed an unearthly spirit. While they were trying to turn the hands of the clock to fix it, Lola felt the weight of the world vanish around her. Max grasped her hand, and together they pressed against the hand of time and fought to not be swallowed by the abyss.
With one last effort, Lola managed to move the hands of the clock, and suddenly everything went back to normal.Time returned, people started moving, animals were running, and the town was like nothing had happened. Lola and Max looked at each other and smiled, knowing they had saved the town, but also that something between them had changed forever.
Lola looked at the clock carefully and thought about everything that had happened.She knew that a single instant could change everything, and that courage, friendship, and curiosity would always be stronger than any magic. Max smiled at her, and together they promised to protect the clock so it would never endanger anyone again.

Time can stop… but friendship, courage, and curiosity will always continue. And even if the clock marks another moment, Lola and Max knew their adventure would never end.
