WHAT IS LIPPS?
WHAT IS LIPPS?
LIPPS stands for Lycée International de Palaiseau Paris-Saclay. It is an international high school that opened in 2021 to provide students with access to a high-quality international education.
WHY WAS LIPPS ESTABLISHED?
LIPPS was established in the aftermath of Brexit in 2016 as part of a French national strategy to attract London-based firms and institutions seeking to relocate within the European Union.
LIPPS is located at the heart of Paris-Saclay, a major hub bringing together high-tech companies and world-class higher education institutions.

BEING A BFI STUDENT AT LIPPS
BFI students must pass an entrance exam to ensure they are able to follow the curriculum.
BFI students have a demanding schedule, with 34 hours of classes per week, typically running from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m...
Class sizes are large, averaging about 34 students...
BFI students take far more final exams than regular high school students.
At this point, you might be wondering why on earth would anyone ever want to put themselves through that?
BFI, like LIPPS in general, is entirely public and free of charge.
BFI students, like those at LIPPS, have two-week breaks every six to seven weeks.
BFI students enjoy slightly smaller class sizes in their subject-specific courses.
BFI students get to have awesome teachers (obviously).
BFI students get to participate in cool exchanges :)
BFI students statistically perform very well in their finals and often receive a High Distinction
Former BFI students now study all around the world (Canada, the Netherlands, South Korea, etc.).
Welcome—and enjoy your time with us!
