"The first two poems that stand out to me is the first one, which is, I think it's called “But a coffee bean” or something. I wrote that poem, I think, freshman year. But I just revised it a lot. So that was just, like, one of my first ever actual poems. Then, obviously, the “French Senate,” it means a lot, so much like, I had to memorize it for slam. I worked with it a lot."
Most Challenging Part To Write
“Probably the latter two, but largely because, like, it's honestly hard to know what's acceptable to speak about in society, because it's like, well, you have the freedom to talk about anything, but if they don't like what you're saying, they won't accept you.”
