secret
Her secret
Sally Ride was very private about her life. After she died in 2012, people learned that she had a long-term relationship with Tam O’Shaughnessy and that she was part of the LGBTQ+ . She never said anyhting about it until she pass away because she wanted to make her life private and she wanted to focus on her work, and if people knew about her being lesbian it will made her astronaut career more difficult .
THANKS!
