What is Ængliscea?

Ængliscea was a civilization believed to be founded around 1800 BC in modern-day England. Its name comes from the words english (Ænglisc), and river (ēa), due to its foundation near the Thames River.

Royalty was the wealthiest and most powerful class, they were respected by the rest of the nation and held tons of political power. A representation of the coat of arms one of the governing royal families could have used is shown on the right side of the screen.

Loyalty

Loyalty was mainly composed of people trusted enough by royalty to be given this social status. It was formed by loyal military generals, priests and nobility.

Lowerty

Lowerty, on the other hand, was the rest of the population who wasn't that trusted by royalty. They had to pay more taxes than average and was composed of workers, citizens and slaves.

Worship

AEnglisceans generally had a pagan religion and believed in multiple gods, like Sunne, the god of the sun, Felth, the godess of land, and Waeter, the godess of the ocean. These gods didn't have a physical form but were still omniscient.
