I’m Annie, and I manage the team at Oliver Bonas St Pancras. I’ve been with Oliver Bonas for over 17 years, working in shops of different sizes and learning from a variety of teams along the way. These experiences have shaped how I lead and support others. I’ve joined the Growth Leaders Program to strengthen my mentoring skills, build confidence as a leader, and learn to delegate effectively while staying closely connected to my team.

Annie Ramos - St Pancras

Sophie Iles - Cardiff

I'm Sophie, I've worked in retail for 18 years.I started as lot of people do, as a 'Saturday Girl' in Mothercare, where I really found my love for providing service and amazing experiences for customers. Working in Mothercare you became a part of extra special journey with customers and seeing customers from bump to baby and beyond was something that made me want to progress within retail, and keep providing that service and having that impact. During my time at Mothercare I progressed through the ranks into management. I managed a variety different stores, from small market towns in Bridgend and Carmarthen to huge 22,000 square foot out of town retail park stores! Also during my time here I was a training manager, where I would train new SMs for 12 weeks, I was also a refit manager and would lead refit teams to successful store openings. I would take on any role I could to keep adding to my skills and experience. Unfortunately I was made redundant in 2019 after just over 10 years service. I then moved on to a Store Manager position for JoJo Maman Bebe, so I know children's retail inside out! Again I loved my time at JoJo, which allowed me the time to really focus on my people and upskilling them to give 'good old fashioned customer service' and once again be a part of customers very special journey, and often you would be the first person told about a customer's pregnancy, often buying little sock or mitts to tell their partner, and being part of that is truly special! During my team here I once again became a mentor manager, training new managers, and also spent some time dual siting between Cardiff and Guernsey! I also have JoJo to thank for my Fiance- we met in May 2021 when he was a customer looking for a gift for a friend's baby, I helped him pick out a few presents, he then came back the next day to but some more presents, and then he asked me out at the tillpoint! (Obviously I said yes!) And the rest is history as they say! I was then made redundant again in 2025 (maybe I'm a curse) and was beyond excited to see the SM position advertised for my store, as an OB fan and customer, this is my dream store to manage!

Steve Tucker - Victoria

43, Father of 2 (Lyla and Lily)Loving Partner and life happy Resilient Leader Proud to be at OB Have a life plan Big Athlete

I’ve been at OB for 7 years and opened Didsbury last year 🙂 I absolutely adore hanging out with my nieces, heading to yoga with my bestie and watching live music around Manchester with my dad. I also got engaged last year whilst on a trip to Canada so currently in the midst of planning a wedding - eeeeeek! Really looking forward to growth leaders and meeting everyone 🙂

Ellie Boocock - Didsbury

Grant Wilson - Glasgow Gordon St

Hi, my name is Grant – the store manager from Glasgow Gordon Street. I have been with OB since July 2023. I love the challenge that being a leader in retail brings, using my 17 years of experience and 14 years as a leader within that, I try to lead in a way that feels straightforward and human – getting to know what motivates different people, adapting my approach when needed and creating a culture where accountability and kindness go hand in hand. I am looking forward to the Growth Leaders program – not to just build my skills, but to challenge my thinking, learn from other managers across the business and continue growing as a leader my team can rely on.

I'm Sam, the store manager of OB Bury St Edmunds, I have been with OB now for about a year & a half. When not at work, you'll usually find me either walking my Pug, Theo, with my partner Josh, or tending to my many house plants.

Sam Bridgeman - Bury St Edmunds

I am a seasoned retail leader who specialises in transforming store culture by mentoring high-performance teams and setting high service standards. I am passionate about developing talent and acting as a positive role model to ensure that every customer experience is expectational.

Nerea Marting - Putney

I'm Nic and I've worked for OB for 8 years in March! How time flies when you're having fun 🙂 I started out as ASM in Leeds and have been SM in Ilkley for over 4 years. If there's a jewellery peg that needs sorting- I'm the one! Outside of work, I love being out in nature, reading and continuing my search for the best cinnamon bun.

Nicola Richardson - Ilkley

Sam Spooner - Bromley

I have been with OB for 4.5 years, starting as a part time team member in our old Greenwich store and progressing into management in my first 11 months. Moved to London 7 years ago to study Film & Television production at the University of Greenwich. I am a raging red on the SDI chart - I am very driven by my ambition and competitiveness. I feel most excited at work when I am met with new challenges and opportunities that will widen my skillset and knowledge. Currently trying to tick off as many European cities as I can squeeze into my time away from work. Have Amsterdam booked in for April which I am super excited to explore (militant itinerary pending...).

Sarah Vermeulen - Guildford

Hi, I'm Sarah and I've worked at OB for 3 and a half years. I started my career at OB as SM in wonderful Farnham and have recently become the SM in the gorgeous Guildford store. I absolutely love my job, not only because of the people I work with but the way OB really encourages you to be yourself and have fun with you team and customers. I'm someone who loves making the most of life's simple pleasures - whether that's a great shopping trip, a gym session, or unwinding while browsing the aisles at Homesense and Dunelm. I also love sharing life's best moments with my husband and young son.
