Modalitat 1: Exposició sobre dones cientíques.

5è A

Constellation of Flavours :

Today we will meet five amazing women scientists. They have helped people with food, nutrition, and health. Some worked with plants, some with the human body, and some with food for astronauts. They show us that science can improve our lives. We will learn about their work, their discoveries, and the changes they made in the world.

Constellation of Calculations:

Today we will meet two amazing women scientists: Annie Jump Cannon and Henrietta Swan Leavitt. They worked at Harvard Observatory and were called the “Harvard Computers.” They studied the stars and classified them to understand the universe. Annie and Henrietta worked together and helped each other. Their teamwork showed that science is better when people share ideas. We will learn how their discoveries help us see and understand the stars today.

Constellation of Care:

Today we will meet five amazing people who helped improve health and safety. Ignaz Semmelweis, Florence Nightingale, and Joseph Lister helped hospitals and doctors. Alice Hamilton and Florence Kelley worked to make factories safer for workers and children. They showed that washing hands, clean equipment, light, air, and safety are very important. We will learn how their discoveries changed hospitals, factories, and society.

5è A

Making Of: From Idea to Final Project

learning step by step

Dorothy Garrod & Dorothea Bate

The Stone Age of Mount Carmel.
