During your week in San Sebastián, we will take a day trip to Hendaye, France. We will take a short boat ride across the border and enjoy the day at the beach. Here we will also be taking surf lessons and try to catch some waves!
During your week in Salamanca, you will take a day trip to Miranda do Douro, Portugal. You will cruise down the gorgeous Douro river and learn about portuguese traditions before heading to a nearby donkey sanctuary.
Now you will travel to the big city of Madrid! Here you will learn about the artistic history of Spain by visiting museums and participating in creative workshops. You will also learn about the current Spanish royalty and visit the Palacio Real.
For one week you will live in Seville where you will fall in love with the southern culture, learn to dance Flamenco, and visit the beautiful cathedral and river. You’ll explore history through the lens of the three faiths that shaped it: Islam, Judaism, and Christianity.
You will settle into Barcelona for two months as you dive into your pathway and find your rhythm. Here you will continue to enjoy weekly cultural activities and group excursions along with optional day trips and weekend travels.
San Sebastian will be your home for one week. You will will stay with a host family while exploring the region. Activities here include pottery, cooking, Basque sports, museum visits and sampling our famous pintxos! You will also learn the basics of the local language.
During our time in Seville, we will take a day trip to the coastal city of Cadiz. Here we will learn about the agricultural history of Sherry wine, enjoy the beautiful beaches and explore the beautiful city.
You will live in the historic city of Salamanca for one week. Here you will learn about Spanish history while biking around the city, touring the beautiful monuments, and exploring the city's royal history and supernatural legends.
