Future Of AI In Energy
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the global energy landscape from optimizing grid operations and forecasting renewable energy production to enabling smarter consumption and predictive maintenance. As the world accelerates toward decarbonization and green energy, AI offers powerful tools to address complex challenges. However, its integration into the energy sector also raises critical questions that are technical covering the development and cybersecurity. Other aspects are required to be explored such as data governance, ethical deployment, regulatory frameworks, and social impact.

Design Future Green Habits
Many people want to live more sustainably, but everyday decisions are shaped by habits, convenience, cost, and unclear information. In daily routines like commuting, shopping, eating, and home energy use, greener options can feel harder to identify, less accessible, or less rewarding in the moment, which makes it difficult to turn good intentions into consistent, long-term behaviour.

Design for Green Mobility
Electric cars and sustainable transport are the future, but adoption is slow. Define the barriers in your community and prototype a solution that makes green mobility easy, fun, and rewarding.

Smart Energy: Predict Tomorrow’s Power!
Analyze and forecast a building’s daily energy consumption using at least one year of historical electric meter data (either simulated or from open datasets).
Your goal is to predict tomorrow’s total energy usage and uncover seasonal and behavioral patterns in how energy is consumed.Design a data-driven predictive model that reveals how building energy behaviour changes over time.

Renewable Energy Rescue Mission
Renewable Energy plants are supposed to power our future. But what if they're silently failing?
Every day, turbines slow down, solar panels lose efficiency, and no one notices until it’s too late. Owners lose clean energy, money, and trust in renewable systems.
Your mission: become part of the rescue team.
Create a smart way to check the health of renewable energy plants and save them before they break.

The Quest Journey
20
What do you think you have to do to be successful on this journey?
21
Keys to success
Align quickly on roles and ownership (who is doing what by when)
Show up reliably and on time for every session
Prioritise progress over perfection, especially in prototyping
Do the between-session work on time (that is where momentum is built)
Be present and engaged (camera on if possible, contribute early)
Test with real users, then iterate based on what you learn
Ask questions the moment you feel unclear so confusion does not spread
Tell a simple final story backed by evidence
Don't forget to have fun!
Use AI to explore and validate, not to replace your thinking
