Interactive Lesson Description

In this lesson, students will listen to a text about a family describing their house and the different rooms and spaces within it. Students will hear details about bedrooms, the kitchen, living room, bathroom, basement, garage, and backyard, as well as activities the family does in each space. Through listening, students will learn vocabulary related to homes and family routines. Activities in this lesson include vocabulary preview, pronunciation practice, dictation, comprehension questions, and speaking tasks such as personal descriptions and comparisons. Students will practice both understanding spoken English and producing their own sentences about houses. Aims To develop students’ listening skills. To develop students’ vocabulary related to houses and home life. To develop students’ ability to describe their own house and family routines in English. Level A2/B1
