Teacher Tips

  • This activity is a good addition for any Q&A game

Usage:

  • Arrange students into 2 teams.
  • Individuals take turns to answer a question.
  • If the question is correct, they can drag a counter into the hole of their choosing. (Students can indicate the coordinates using the letters).
  • The team that gets four counters in a row first, wins!

  • This activity is good for practising the numbers up to 50

Usage:

  • Students can play individually or in teams.
  • Students first write down 6 numbers between 1 and 50.
  • Click "draw ball" to reveal a random number.
  • Any student that has that number can cross it off.
  • Continue until somebody has elimiated all their numbers.
  • To notify the teacher they have won, students must shout "Bingo"!
  • Results can be verified in the winning numbers record.

Usage:

  • Arrange students into 2-4 teams.
  • Select a random number with the dice.
  • Select a random letter of the alphabet.
  • Teams race to write down the required number of words for each category. All words must begin with the selected letter.
  • The first team to complete the task wins!
  • For variation, change the categories to reflect recent class topics, or use the colour wheel instead of the letter generator.
  • Encourage students to ask for correct spellings.
