CODING
For coding classes, we used small, square coding mats and colorful squares. Students created Christmas pictures and snowflakes out of them. We also had fun with coding on the multimedia board. The classes contributed to the development of many important skills in children, and especially brought them a lot of joy and satisfaction.
ROMANIA
Creating Snowflakes through Digital Coding
Through a digital coding activity, students designed snowflakes by first creating the code on the board and then applying it on paper, enhancing computational thinking and visual–spatial skills.
New Year Pattern Strips
We read a winter story " A Winter Night". A book about friendship.
CodIng SkIlls
We worked on winter coding skills! Children helped the snowman find his hat by creating a path using arrow cards. It was a fun unplugged coding activity that developed sequencing and problem-solving.
"NEW YEAR'S PATTERN STRIPS"(ALGORITHMIC THINKING/PATTERNS)
Patterns were created using coloured paper chains, alternating between red and white. The classroom was decorated with these patterns.
Small Hands, Big Measurements!
We discover math not just in numbers, but in every object we touch. Our students compare the sizes of objects using non-standard units of measurement (their hands, their pencils). We develop our skills in estimating, comparing, and analyzing through play.
Winter Story: Little Rabbit and The First Snow
Geometric Pine Tree Forest Children designed their own geometric pine forests using triangle, circle, and rectangle shapes..
WINTER ACTIVITY
pixel coding
We applied Pixelart application Snowflake and Pine Tree images with pixel coding both in the classroom and at home. With this application, we have developed our digital skills while having fun
