It's two weeks before Christmas, and you have just noticed a $1000 charge on your bank account for a purchase that you don't recognize. Your choices will determine whether or not you get your money back, or if you get scammed again. Remember: every decision has consequences. Don't get scammed!

Start

After noticing the charge on your transaction history, what do you do?

You find the website for the vendor listed on the charge and email the customer service address alerting that this was a fraudulent charge.

Next

Customer service responds and apologizes for the inconvenience. They assure you that they will look into it to get it resolved.

A couple days pass and a package arrives at your house from the vendor in question - it appears to be what was ordered. You contact the vendor and ask if you can just return it and get a refund.

Next

They tell you what the return address is and that you will need to cover the shipping costs, but you'll be reimbursed.
