El análisis del árbol de problemas es una herramienta de diagnóstico fundamental que ayuda a los y las estudiantes a visualizar la anatomía completa de un desafío social. Al estructurar el análisis como un árbol, las participantes pueden:
Identificar la raíz (causas)
Identificar los factores subyacentes que contribuyen al problema, incluyendo las dimensiones históricas, económicas, culturales y políticas.
Comprender cuál es el tronco (problema central)
Expresar claramente el problema central que hay que abordar, centrándose en manifestaciones específicas en lugar de categorías generales.
Visualizar las ramas (efectos)
Analizar las consecuencias y los impactos en las personas, las comunidades y los sistemas para comprender las prioridades de intervención.
Esta metodología proporciona puntos de intervención claros y evita soluciones superficiales al abordar las causas subyacentes en lugar de los síntomas.
Análisis del árbol de soluciones
El Árbol de Soluciones (o Árbol de Objetivos) transforma las afirmaciones negativas del Árbol de Problemas en resultados y estrategias positivas. Este replanteamiento positivo ayuda a las personas que lo utilizan a:
- Convertir las causas fundamentales en acciones estratégicas.
- Transformar el problema central en un objetivo central.
- Reformular los efectos negativos en resultados positivos.
Esta metodología conduce naturalmente al establecimiento de objetivos y al desarrollo de estrategias de intervención coherentes, creando una hoja de ruta desde la identificación del problema hasta la implementación de la solución.
