Context: Participants were asked to apply the Ludens Method to a future class as homework ("The Ludens Method Applied"). Activity: 1. Share your homework in groups. 2. Then, one person from each group will share their experience."

Context: Main requests from the satisfaction survey: "Creating Your Own Game" and "Adapting Board Games" Techniques:

Designing from Scratch

Skinning

Challenge: Following Steps 3 (Design) and 4 (Prototype) of the Ludens Method, create a quick sketch for a card or board game that addresses a specific grammatical problem in Mandarin Chinese. Document everything in photographs or text, and put it all in a Google Drive folder that will be shared with you.

Goal: This process encourages the cross-pollination of ideas, aiming for more robust and innovative final proposals. Activity: 1. The Table Host: One member from each group will be the "Table Host". This person remains at their table to explain the game their team created to the visiting groups. 2. The Travelers: The rest of the team members are "Travelers". They will rotate to different tables in rounds. At each new table, their role is to listen to the host's presentation and then contribute with feedback, questions, and new ideas to enrich the original concept.

Leader stays in table. Group 1 goes to table 2 Group 2 goes to table 3 Group 3 goes to table 4 Group 4 goes to table 5 Group 5 goes to table 1
Each group will have the last 10 minutes for reflection, followed by time to review the documentation in the Google Drive.

Goal: Learn together how to digitize your game prototypes. You can use the games created during your group session or your individual assignments from "The Ludens Method Applied" task. Activity: 1. Cultura Ludens will demonstrate how to adapt one of the games using digital tools like Miro, Genially, or Canva. 2. Collaborative Workshop: As a group, teachers with access to a computer or tablet can begin digitizing parts of their own games. This is an open session to discuss ideas, troubleshoot, and help each other with the digital adaptation process. 3. We will conclude by discussing the tools and techniques that were used, highlighting which platforms are most effective and which are available for free. Document everything in Google Drive too!
